hello, I have a style-related question. I am currently creating my own style for phpbb 2.x based on the sub silver style. I copied it to a new folder and edited the files to my needs. At the moment I am creating new icons for the navigation inside the board. The 3 icons on the main page that show the status of the forums (new messages, normal, locked) are my icons before the forums but the subsilver-versions at the bottom of the page.
Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this problem? I should add, that I use png instead of gif.

hi, I have just installed my phpbb3 forum and used the database converter from phpbb2 to phpbb3. when i try to go to the index page of the forum host however I get this General Error: Could not get style data can anyone tell me what the problem is? Thanks

just set one forum up how you want under forum permissions
edit each forum, and use the copy permissions drop down and copy from that forum

i unzipped the files to cinetpub\wwwroot\mcad\
then i used the mysql_basic and schema .sql files to generate the dbase

You install phpBB by running install/install.php
That will generate the tables and will populate config.php

The admin user will not be written nor will the anonymous user
As such, you should drop the tables and run the installer

I found this out while ago when one of my other admins made a forum and didnt give me any permissions, when i was making another forum giving myself permissions i saw it. gave them shit because they didnt ask me .
